Proof of Concept Design Projects
Brochure Project
For this project I wanted to design something that was modern yet had an 'out-west', rustic feel. I also wanted to play off the canyon theme by adding drop shadows to the boxes and header text, adding a repetitive theme to the project. The color scheme was pretty simple, I wanted a nicely contrasting burnt orange that was similar to red rocks of Arizona, and bright blue to match the sky.
Identity Project
Next was a rebranding idea for a local restaurant. The color scheme was obviously dark green and grey to fit in with the Eagles theme. Alignment was key for this project for both the text of the letter head and the business card. The logo design idea was a stamp or a seal that would pair nicely with the letterhead and envelope.
Event Project
The idea for this project game from promoting a sporting event. I wanted to capture the fast paced feel of hockey and also have some high quality photos. Proximity was another important thing to make sure the date and time were noticeable and the poster was easy for a passerby to read.
Social Media Posts
To go along with the event poster I designed different social media posts to promote the event. I wanted to stay true to LU's marketing schemes with colors and logos but also add my own flair with the ice background and box design.
